vRSTiM no arSa divyaaM jigatnum iLaavatiiM shaMgayiiM jiiradaanum

pra niilapRSTho atasasya dhaases taa avaasayat purudhapratiikaH

naayam achaa maghavaa shRNavad giro brahmokthaa ca sukratuH

aa no rayiM vahatam ota viiraan aa vishvaany amRtaa saubhagaani

shishur na jaato .ava cakradad vane sva\r yad vaajy a\ruSaH siSaasati

pra taary aayuH prataraM naviiya sthaataareva kratumataa rathasya

Quicken me after thy lovingkindness; so shall I keep the testimony of thy mouth.

maa va stena iishata maaghashaMsaH pari vo hetii rudrasya vRjyaaH

naasatyaa tiroahnyaM juSaaNaa somam pibatam asridhaa sudaanuu

And he spake to his sons, saying, Saddle me the ass. And they saddled him.

sam acyanta vRjanaatitviSanta yat svaranti ghoSaM vitatam RtaayavaH

Lo, their good is not in their hand: the counsel of the wicked is far from me.

taa bhujyuM vibhir adbhyaH samudraat tugrasya suunum uuhathuu rajobhiH

tava tye soma pavamaana niNye vishve devaas traya ekaadashaasaH

He shall be driven from light into darkness, and chased out of the world.

trir yad divaH pari muhuurtam aagaat svair mantrair anRtupaa Rtaavaa

vardhantiim aapaH panvaa sushishvim Rtasya yonaa garbhe sujaatam

uta tvacaM dadato vaajasaatau pipriihi madhvaH suSutasya caaroH

vRSeva yuuthaa pari kosham arSasy apaam upasthe vRSabhaH kanikradat

I have seen the foolish taking root: but suddenly I cursed his habitation.
