Will God hear his cry when trouble cometh upon him?

indro viSNur miiDhvaaMsaH sajoSasaH

vihi hotraa aviitaa vipo na raayo aryaH

I will answer thee, and thy companions with thee.

eSa pratnena janmanaa devo devebhyaH sutaH

I am for peace: but when I speak, they are for war.

devaM-devaM vo .avase devaM-devam abhiSTaye

And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.

saparyantii purupriyaa mimiita it

varethe agnim aatapo vadate valgv atraye

Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied.

How is the city of praise not left, the city of my joy!
